GREEN ROOF

This home has been designed to look like its been on the site forever with stone walls that look like they have crumbled away over time and a grass roof planted in tussocks and grasses to disguise the home into the landscape.

A special plaster finish is used extensively both inside and out which pairs perfectly with western red cedar as cladding, wall and ceiling linings.

Texture has been incorporated into both the internal and external pre-cast panels to give an aged finished. A  horse-shoe shaped roof above the sheltered courtyard is also an impactful feature.

This house was been designed by Fearon Hay www.fearonhay.com
